My daughter’s not at that stage either, Natasha, but I’ve talked to friedns with secondary school aged children and they all seem to agree that the IB is the way to go.

I haven’t had to deal with secondary schools yet. Do you think the international baccalaureate is probably the best all-round qualification to aim for if they don’t yet know where they want to go to uni?

Amazingly, they do – although it seems strange to people from the US and UK, there are many parts of the world where corporal punishment is still the norm. Luckily, there are also humane alternatives in those locations.
